Police remind motorists to take extra care around school zones as students return to the classroom next week, following their holiday break. Police around the State will remain vigilant with school zone safety, in a bid to raise driver awareness around these areas.

All motorists are reminded of the 40 km/h speed limit enforced in school zones.  Drivers must also slow to 40 km/h within 50 metres of a school bus which has flashing warning lights.
