Members of Launceston CIB today charged a 14 year old West Tamar male with the attempted armed robbery of the Alanvale Store.  It will be alleged that two males have entered the store at about 3.15pm on Wednesday 16 November 2011 and threatened a staff member with a knife whilst demanding cash.  No staff member was injured as a result.  The youth is due to appear in court at a later date.
