About 4.30am on Sunday 8 May 2016, Tas Ambulance and Tasmania Police attended a car park in Marine Terrace, Burnie, where a 19 year old Wynyard man was found with serious head injuries in a suspected fall from some stairs.

The man was transferred to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition where he is still being treated.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries and appeal to anyone who may have been in the area of Green’s Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have any direct knowledge or saw anything which may assist the enquiry.
