At about 10.40pm on 25 April 2014 police were called to attend a residence in Argonaut Street, St Helens.

On arrival they found an adult man had suffered what appeared to be a stab wound to the abdomen.

As a result of investigations by attending police a second man at the address was arrested in relation to the alleged wounding of the victim.

The second man, a 52 Year old from St Helens, has since been charged with Wounding and bailed to appear at a later date.

The victim is currently being treated at the Launceston General Hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery.
