At approximately 9:30pm on Wednesday 23 December 2015, a 17year old youth was attacked by two other teenagers on the footpath near the Tramshed Complex on Invermay Rd, Inveresk. The victim was stabbed and received other minor injuries during the incident.

The victim was examined by paramedics and transported to the Launceston General Hospital. The parties involved are known to each other. Police attended the scene and conducted a forensic examination in regards to the matter.
