Hobart police have charged an 18 year old New Town man with one count of wounding following an incident which occurred at a Hobart high school in the early afternoon of Monday 16 October 2017.

The man was detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17 October.

The victim, a 14 year old boy received non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
