Detectives from Hobart CIB have today charged a 20 year old Glenorchy with Wounding and Assault.

The charges are a result of ongoing investigation into the wounding of a 22 year old man at Salamanca on Sunday 14 December 2014.

The offender will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court later today.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter.

Investigations are continuing and further charges may be laid.
