Tasmania Police is investigating after equipment used in the manufacture of a controlled substance was found during a search of a residence in Mornington on Hobart’s Eastern Shore last night.

A 38-year-old woman has been charged with offences relating to manufacturing a controlled substance, believed to be amphetamine.

It is expected that she will appear in an out of hours sitting of the Hobart Magistrates Court tonight.

A 43-year-old man is continuing to assist police with their enquiries.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with drug possession offences and will appear in court at a later date.
