Woman charged with high range drink driving at South Arm
A 43-year-old Risdon Vale woman has been disqualified from driving for 24 months after being caught drink driving in South Arm yesterday.
Following information from the public, around 5:30pm police intercepted a white Toyota Prado with a smashed windscreen.
Police took the woman driver into custody where she returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.236, over 4 times the legal limit.
Acting Sergeant Mcvilly of Bellerive Police said, “Tasmania Police has a clear message to drivers – don’t drink and drive, we’re always on the roads, and you will get caught.”
