A woman has been charged over an alleged wounding incident in Bridgewater yesterday.

About 5pm on Friday 10 February,  an incident occurred in Farrow Place, Bridgewater where a person sustained some injuries to her face and arms.  The victim was treated at the scene by Ambulance Tasmania.

The offender was arrested upon arrival of police without incident and was subsequently charged with wounding.  They will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.

The victim and offender were known to each other and there is further no risk to the public.
