The driver of the white Suzuki Vitara four wheel drive who died in a crash with a log truck on the Bass Highway on 15 September 2014 is believed be 46 year old Jeremy Dacre BALL of Launceston.

The driver of the Suzuki is still to be formally identified.

Northern Crash Investigation Services are investigating the matter and will prepare a report for the coroner.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or saw a white Suzuki Vitara four wheel drive or a Mack prime mover carrying logs on the Bass Highway at approximately 12:30pm on Monday is asked to contact 1/C Constable Nigel Housego at Northern Crash Investigation Services on 67773936 or 131444.
