Witnesses sought to alleged assault
The Devonport CIB is seeking information from the public concerning an assault which is alleged to have occurred at the corner of Leven and Short Streets in Ulverstone about 10.30pm on Friday night, 18 February.
It is alleged that the victim, a 24 year old Ulverstone man, was assaulted by the occupants of a white Holden Commodore sedan which is believed to be a VL model (1986 to 1988). The Commodore is described as being in good condition with chrome wheels and a sports exhaust system.
The driver of the vehicle is described as around 24 years of age, approximately 6ft tall, solid build, short blonde hair, distinctive acne scarring on his face, wearing “skater-style” loose fitting jeans that were low around his crotch and a dark coloured windcheater without a hood.
The passenger in the vehicle is described as around 18 – 19 years of age, approximately 5ft 8 – 6 in tall, medium build, brown spiky hair, wearing “skater-style” jeans that were low around his crotch and a white t-shirt.
