Tasmania Police are seeking witnesses to an incident this morning on the Bass Highway at Parramatta Creek where a prime mover has merged into a Silver Suzuki Sedan and then left the scene without stopping.

While the Suzuki was eastbound, overtaking the prime mover, the prime mover has merged into the overtaking lane crashing into the passenger side of the Suzuki, causing damage.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

The prime mover did not stop following the incident and police are seeking witnesses in the hopes of establishing the identity of the truck and driver.
