On 16 October 2012 members from Western Criminal Investigation Branch, assisted by Devonport Uniform, attended an address in Devonport relevant to drugs and firearms.

As a result of the search of the Devonport Road property a quantity of amphetamine, cannabis, cash, 2 firearms, 2 tasers and stolen property were located. 

The firearms, being a sawn of .410 and 12 gauge shotgun, were not licensed or stored within the confines of the Firearms Act 1996. 

The tasers have the appearance of flashlight torches and are illegal to possess or import into Tasmania or Australia.

Three males, aged 31, 32 and 33 years, all from Devonport, have been charged relevant to drugs, firearms, tasers and stolen property.

The 32 and 33 old men will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court on 11 December, the 31 year old will appear at a date to be set.

Two of the males are affiliated with the Rebels Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang (OMCG).
