On Sunday 25^th of November 2012 at approximately 2.20pm police and fire officers were called to a vehicle on fire in Nyora Court, Miandetta.

A blue 2009 Holden Commodore SSV utility which had been stolen from Legana the previous morning, had been abandoned in Nyora Court and appears to have been deliberately set fire to. Two Tasmania Fire Service units and police attended.

The vehicle was completely destroyed by fire and the incident is currently under investigation by police.

Police are appealing to witnesses who may have seen the vehicle during the past couple of days. Information can be left by calling Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or 131444.
