Arrest in regards to vegetation fire, Ravenswood

A 45 year old male Ravenswood resident has today been arrested and charged with unlawfully setting fire to vegetation, following the vegetation fire at Ravenswood on 16th January.

The man has been bailed with conditions to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on the 3^rd of February 2016 at 9.45am.

Tasmania Police would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance which resulted in the timely management of the fire and the subsequent arrest of the person responsible.
