Launceston Police are calling for information in their investigation of vandalism of Telstra property in the Trevallyn area.

On Wednesday night, 11 June 2014, vandals cut Telstra cables in 3 locations: the corner of Delungra and Fairthorne Roads, a second location on Fairthorne Road and on Anderson Street.

The vandals have caused significant disruption to the local Telstra network, as the footpath must be dug up in order to repair the cables.

The damage caused on Wednesday night is the latest in a series of similar vandalism of Telstra property this year. The area of Delungra and Fairthorne Road has been targeted 3 times in the past 3 months.
