Police have charged a fourth person with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Robbery as part of their ongoing investigation into the serious assault of a man in Waverley on 10 January.

The 25-year-old Rocherlea man appeared in an after-hours court last night and was remanded in custody to re-appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court this morning.

Investigations are continuing in relation to other persons involved in these crimes.

The 48-year-old victim remains in a serious condition in the Launceston General Hospital.
