Update – waverley assault investigation – 3 persons arrested.

Launceston CIB have been continuing their investigations in to the serious assault of a 48-year-old male that occurred in Waverley earlier this week.

3 persons have been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Attempted Murder, and are to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am on Saturday the 13th of January 2018.    They are:

  • 23 year old male from Waverley
  • 18 year old male from  Prospect
  • 17 year old female youth from KingsMeadows.

Investigations are continuing in relation to other persons involved in these crimes.

The 48 year old male remains in a serious condition in the ICU of the Launceston General Hospital.
