Investigations are continuing in relation to the circumstances surrounding a serious motor vehicle crash on Don Road, Devonport in the early hours of this morning.

A 15 year old boy remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 17 year old boy has been charged with 2 counts of motor vehicle stealing, a count of negligent driving and a count of unlicensed driving. He is due to appear before the Youth Justice Court later today.

Police wish to speak with anyone who saw grey Kia Rio or a brown Mazda 323 being driven in the Don Road area at around 2am this morning.
