Police are continuing to search the Mt Dundas area near Zeehan for a missing walker. The walker is a 75 year old male Zeehan resident, he was last seen around 5pm, 5th December 2015 when he left a remote hut to explore the area.

At present there are 25 wilderness trained search and rescue personnel in the Mt Dundas region completing various search tasks. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter is also on scene assisting with transportation of teams into remote locations and flying coordinated search patterns.

There have been no sightings or communication with the missing person.
