A 45 year old Glenorchy woman remains in a critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit of the Royal Hobart Hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Tolosa St, Glenorchy, on Monday evening.

The woman was struck by a maroon coloured 4WD ute which was travelling in a westerly direction on Tolosa Street.

The woman has head injuries and fractures.

Police have spoken to the driver of the ute and investigations into the incident are continuing.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the woman walking on Tolosa Street around 7.20pm on Monday evening, or anyone who saw the ute in the area.
