Police wish to advise that 2 persons arrested in connection with the violent home invasion and robbery at Deloraine earlier this morning have now been formally charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Armed Robbery.

A 45 year old female and a 36 year old male, both from Perth,  have been remanded in custody to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 10am on Saturday the 3^rd November 2018.  Bail will be opposed.

Launceston CIB are continuing their investigations concerning a 3^rd male suspect believed to have been involved in this matter.

The 56 year old male  victim has now been discharged from hospital, shaken by the ordeal.  He has several staples to his head and stitches to his face as well as  abrasions and bruising to his body.
