Update on shooting incident Ferrall Street Invermay

Police are appealing for witnesses to the shooting of a 34 year old man at Invermay on Saturday night at about 9.45pm.

Police would specifically like to speak with anyone who may have seen a green Holden Commodore sedan on Ferrall  Street shortly before or after 9.45 pm.  The vehicle is believed to have been parked at least partially upon the footpath of Ferrall Street.

The victim of the shooting remains in a serious but stable condition at the Launceston General Hospital.  The man, now suffering a permanent disability as a result of the shooting, was subject to a six hour surgical procedure upon his admission to the hospital.
