The investigation into missing 10 year old boy, Jaymie Fisher, is continuing.

Acting Inspector Philippa Burk, of Glenorchy CIB, said the Search and Rescue component of the investigation has been scaled down, due to new information.

The missing boy’s mother, Rachel Fisher, has informed police that Jaymie contacted her by telephone last evening at approximately 9.00pm. Police are following this line of enquiry.

Rachel Fisher has told police that she is aware of the current location of her son however until the child is sighted by officers the missing person investigation remains open.

Police are utilising all resources and avenues of enquiry to locate Jaymie Fisher and to ensure his safety and well being.
