As part of our investigations we are looking at all possible avenues of enquiry.

One of those avenues includes a reported sighting of a substance that may have been blood on Mill Road, Perth.

Initial forensic analysis at the time the information was received did not locate any obvious blood.

To ensure a thorough investigation the area of interest has been expanded and further more complex forensic testing has been completed.

The results of this examination are not known at this stage.
