Hobart Police are currently investigating a recent spate of thefts of patrons clothing and personal items from the Hobart Aquatic Centre. 

Bags left unattended within change rooms are targeted with offenders taking items of clothing such as caps and shoes and also personal items of value such as wallets, mobile phones and cash.

Staff at the Hobart Aquatic Centre are assisting police with their investigations in an endeavour to identify the offenders. Police urge people to be vigilant in securing valuables while in any public place and if possible consider leaving them at home.

Members of the public are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they have any information in relation to suspicious persons or activities.
