A 14-year-old youth has been charged with armed robbery following an incident at the United Service Station on George Town Road, Newnham last night.
The armed robbery occurred at 9.25pm when the young man entered the service station, allegedly brandishing a knife.
Earlier today Detectives from Launceston CIB arrested and charged the youth.
