Two vehicle crash Midlands Highway Ross

On Tuesday 26 January 2016 at 4.25pm a two vehicle crash occurred on the Midlands Highway near Ross.  A white Mitsubishi sedan travelling north has collided with a green Jaguar sedan that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the white sedan has left the scene prior to police arrival and was observed by witnesses to run away across a paddock.

The occupants of the Jaguar were taken to the Launceston General Hospital with minor injuries and were later released.

Police closed the Midlands Highway for approximately 2 hours, and diverted all traffic except heavy vehicles through the township of Ross.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have observed the driving manner of the white Mitsubishi prior to the crash.
