Approximately 06.40hours on Friday 4th July 2014, a Silver Triumph Motor Cycle collided with a Blue Toyota Corolla hatch on Colebrook Road.

The collision has occurred outside 1477 Colebrook Road. The 21 year old woman car driver from Swansea has made a right hand turn from a driveway onto Colebrook Road to head south. At this time the 21 year old male rider from Colebrook has ridden up a crest in the road. The motor cyclist has collided with the rear of the Toyota as the Toyota headed south toward Richmond.

At the time of the crash it was dark.

The woman driver was not injured. The motor cyclist was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital by Ambulance. He received multiple broken bones as a result of the crash and is listed as stable with non-life threatening injuries.

Colebrook Road/ Mudwalls Road was closed to all traffic for a couple of hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
