Two Vehicle Collision – Tasman Highway, Buckland

Shortly before 3pm on 3 January 2017 there was a 2 vehicle crash on the Tasman Highway, Buckland.
 
A Blue Hyundai Sedan being driven by an 80 year old man from Nairne, South Australia, was travelling south on the Tasman Highway when it has collided with a White Toyota Utility being driven by a 67 year old woman from Buckland which was travelling north.
 
The collision caused a large amount of damage to both vehicles, with the utility rolling down an embankment. Both drivers were trapped in the vehicles and extricated by members from Ambulance Tasmania and the Tasmanian Fire Services.
 
All occupants of the vehicles were transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital and are currently listed as being in a stable condition.
