At about 3.45pm on Tuesday 4 November 2014 a prime mover truck towing a flat tray was travelling towards Devonport about 2km west of the Latrobe Municipal boundary .

The 66 year old truck driver slowed to negotiate a right hand corner when a motor cycle that was travelling towards Exeter impacted on the driver’s side of the truck.

The 60 year old rider of the motor cycle was thrown to the road and sustained several breaks to his leg and possible internal injuries. There were no injuries sustained by the truck driver.

Accident investigation attended and completed an examination of the scene.

Investigations are continuing regarding the cause of the crash.
