At approximately 8.45am on Monday the 11^th January 2016  Tasmania Police and emergency services were called to a boat moored at Prince of Wales Bay at Derwent Park near Hobart following a report that two men had been found deceased.

A 58 year old Newnham man and a 56 year old Mowbray man were found on a 10m cruiser vessel by the boat owner this morning.

Police and fire services have investigated the scene and have ruled out foul play.

Investigations into the cause of the deaths are continuing, although they are not believed to be suspicious.

The cause of deaths will be determined by the Coroner.

Next of kin have been notified.

A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
