Two people are in custody following an evade incident at West Ulverstone this afternoon.

Police attempted to intercept a vehicle just after noon following reports of a burglary in Forth.

The vehicle evaded police along several rural roads before two people were taken into custody without further incident just before 2.30pm.

Nobody was physically injured during the incident.

Investigations into the burglary are ongoing.
