A 45 year old man from the Tasman Peninsula has been charged with trafficking in a controlled drug.

Yesterday police executed a search warrant at an address on the Tasman Peninsula and a significant amount of Cannabis was located.

During the search police seized 107 Cannabis Plants and approximately 4.6kgs of cannabis packaged into 166 one ounce bags.

The man was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Drug and cultivating a controlled plant for sale and will appear in court at a later date.
