At about 12 midday on 12 December 2014, police responded to reports of a three vehicle crash on the Bass Highway, Exton.

A Silver Kia sedan travelling towards Deloraine on the Bass Highway collided with a white BMW which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The Kia impacted on the driver’s side of the BMW before veering down the road and colliding head on with a white Navara twin cab ute.

The Navara and the Kia sustained substantial damage while the BMW sustained damage to the driver’s side.

There were seven people in the three vehicles.

All occupants were transported to the Launceston general Hospital and at the time of writing all are described as having non- life threatening injuries.

Enquiries are continuing regarding the cause of the crash.
