Devonport Police are investigating a number of thefts from schools in and around the Devonport area in the past week.

During business hours staff property has been removed from rooms inside school premises by an unknown male person. The targeted property has included purses and wallets, cameras and other small items.

A description of a male person has been obtained from a number of witnesses and police would like to speak to any person who believes they may know the identity of this individual.

He is described as:

Mid 50’s
165 – 175cm in height
Average to slim build
Greying short hair (possibly clipper cut)
