Taskforce Saturate continues to make our community safer
Taskforce Saturate continues to achieve results, with 87 individuals apprehended and charged with a total of 257 offences over the past month.
Sergeant Greg Rogers said the taskforce is a dedicated initiative aimed at making our community safer by targeting repeat offenders in Southern Tasmania.
“Taskforce Saturate is a vital part of keeping our community safe,” he said.
“Over the past month, Saturate officers have tirelessly worked to identify and apprehend those responsible for a wide range of criminal activities, including but not limited to aggravated armed robbery, aggravated burglary, stealing, assault, breach of bail, drug offences, dangerous driving, evade police and disqualified driving,” he said.
“The unwavering dedication of our Saturate members has resulted in the apprehension of 87 individuals, with 257 charges laid against these repeat offenders.”
“Taskforce Saturate is a prime example of our commitment to reducing crime, and we will continue to conduct operations to hold criminals to account.”
