Suspicious house fire – Plymouth Road, Gagebrook

At approximately 3.30am on Saturday 18 February 2017 Police and Tasmania Fire Service attended a house fire at 16 Plymouth Road, Gagebrook.

 

The residence was vacant at the time and the value of damage is estimated at $180,000. At this stage the exact cause of the fire is undetermined, however it is believed to be suspicious.

 

The matter is under investigation and Glenorchy CIB would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Plymouth Road area around the time of the house fire.
