At 6pm, Monday the 21st February 2011, Police were called to Cornwall Street, Rose Bay in relation to a suspicious parcel which had been located by a resident.

The device was rendered safe by the Tasmania Police Bomb Response Group a short time after being located.

There was no disruption to traffic or persons in the area as a result of the device.

Police are seeking assistance from any person who may have information regarding the suspicious devices located at Lindisfarne and Rose Bay over the past few days.
