Tasmania Police responded to a report of the sudden death of a three-month-old male in Launceston on Sunday 30 December 2018.

At this stage police are satisfied that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the matter is being treated as a Sudden Unexpected Death of an Infant and will be subject to a Coronial inquiry.
