Shortly before 3am on Saturday, 24 November 2012, police and ambulance personnel were called to a vehicle parked in Ronald Street, Devonport. 

On arrival a 24 year old female was located deceased on the nature strip near the vehicle.  A number of people were in attendance.

An investigation is currently being undertaken.  The cause of death is not known at this time.  A post-mortem will be conducted.  The deceased had no significant injuries. At this time, no crime of violence is suspected.
