Substantial seizure of ICE from Hobart International Airport

On 1 July 2016 Tasmania Police personnel from Southern Drug Investigation Services arrested a 22 year old Hobart man at the Hobart International Airport as the result of conducting drug screening activities utilising the drug detection dog.
Police seized 10 ounces (280 grams) of crystal methythylamphetamine (ICE) which was concealed on the man.
This significant seizure has a potential street value of $280 000.
The man has been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled substance and remanded in custody to appear at the Hobart Magistrates Court.
