Detectives of Bellerive CIB are investigating a daylight burglary and stealing which occurred on the afternoon of Friday 26^th October 2012 in the Rosny area. An elderly female was at home at the time and the person responsible entered the front of the residence undetected and stole a significant quantity of distinctive heirloom and antique  jewellery.

Police are asking the public to report any suspicious offers for sale of this type of item or any information regarding suspicious persons or vehicles seen in this area around the time.

Over the past weeks, there have been a number of daylight aggravated burglaries on the Eastern Shore and police are asking that residents be vigilant in securing their properties and to report any persons knocking on doors without valid reason.  Information can be reported to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or direct to the Bellerive CIB on 6230 2685.
