At 4:39am Thursday 13/11/14 a structure fire was reported in Remount Road, Mowbray. Fire crews and police arrived to find a building well alight.

The building was a large shed used to store timber. The shed was away from the road, and there was no danger to any other surrounding property.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage. Damage to the building is estimated at $60,000 and the value of the contents is not yet known.
