Police and emergency services responded to a fire-related incident in Cumberland St, Warrane earlier today, during which a structure caught fire.

Police believe the incident involved people who were known to each other. One person was treated for smoke related injuries.

Detectives were interested to speak with anyone who may have seen a white two door Mitsubishi Lancer which was seen in the area shortly before the incident about 11.50am today.

Investigations continue at this time.
