Around 6 pm on Thursday 6 February 2014, a structure fire was reported at 29A Tor Hill Road, Ouse.  

The timber and iron dwelling was totally destroyed by the fire.  The damage estimate is expected to be around $200,000.  The house was unoccupied at the time, therefore, no persons were injured.

Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) attended although the fire had already consumed the dwelling. 

The fire cause has not yet been determined.  A TFS Fire Scene Examiner, Police Investigators and Forensic personnel will attend on Friday to conduct a thorough examination. 

Police are seeking assistance from any person who may have information.
