Stolen medication George Town

Police are seeking assistance from the George Town community regarding two separate burglaries. 

On the 19 June 2013, two offenders broke into the Amcal Pharmacy on Macquarie Street, George Town.  The offenders stole a quantity of medication.  CCTV footage of the offenders was obtained and a still picture is attached to this media release.

In the early hours of Tuesday 2nd July 2013, offender/s broke into the George Town Medical Centre on Anne Street, George Town.  The offenders have stolen another quantity of medication, some of which can have harmful effects.  Staff advised that if administered incorrectly, the effects can be dangerous.

Police would like to issue a general warning to any persons who may have contact with these stolen drugs, through illegal means; that use may result in serious health consequences.
