Speeding motorist caught at 200kms per hour.

On the afternoon of Sunday 6th December 2015 Police were on mobile patrol on Mole Creek Road, near Deloraine.

This is a 100 kilometre per hour zone.

Police detected an approaching vehicle at 200 kilometres per hour.

The driver was intercepted by police without incident as he immediately stopped for police.

His car was clamped for 28 days, and will be summonsed for the speeding offence.

Not only will this driver be without his vehicle over the Christmas holiday period, he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date for serious traffic offences and expect to be disqualified from driving for a long period.
