At 10.40 am today members of the Northern Road Safety Task Force detected a driver travelling at 150km/h in a 100km/h zone on the West Tamar Highway, between Launceston and Riverside.

As a result of this detection, the vehicle was clamped for a period of 28 days and the driver will be brought before the courts for numerous traffic related offences.
